  41. I understand completely. However, I have already done quite a bit of
  42. debugging at this point and have modified the script to not TAKE the
  43. 'k2.ini' file. This cleared up the crash problem. Something broke due
  44. to my lack of knowledge regarding how Kermit/2 accesses the 'k2.ini'
  45. and my forcing kermit to reload the .ini files within the script. I
  46. cannot duplicate the crash now without undoing a lot of work so
  47. if you really want to see a debug log I'll have to try to remember
  48. how the script was set up and write a new one just for that. Let me
  49. know.

  51. I now have gotten much farther and no longer get a crash. I'm working
  52. on getting the script to not attempt to download the file if it does
  53. not exist on the server. I'm finding the c-kermit server mode on the
  54. ISP's release of c-kermit is lacking many commands I am wanting to
  55. use so I'm having to improvise by trial and error. Here is what 'sho
  56. ver' outputs on their system:

  73. As you can see their version is quite old. I have requested that they
  74. update to 6.0.192 but I'm told they have to get permission from
  75. Columbia U., install, test, do a study of the test and then ok or
  76. deny the upgrade. I'm told as well this will take up to six months to
  77. complete. :-/ So I'm muddling along. ;-)
